Interpretive Training

Establish the interpretive standards for your site or system. Partner with the National Association of Interpretation (NAI) to offer Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG) training and other courses to professionalize your interpretive programs. Site-specific interpretive training can build skills while creating spaces to review complicated resource information and discuss visitation patterns. Create a culture where interpreters seek mastery and crave feedback - both informally in staff meetings or online forums, and formally through program evaluations and direction-setting annual site evaluations.
